Hard
Drive
recommended SATAII interface HDD,
with 80GB, 100GB , 200GB, 500GB and 1TB accordingly.
Assume one image captured = 15kB (medium compression)
capturing rate = 12 frame per second (fps)
so, 15kB x 12fps x 3600sec (1hr) = 648000kB (~approx
0.65GB per hour)
Conclusion: average for ONE camera
per day (24hr recording) is 16GB.
Required Hard Drive space greatly depends on the frame
rate, frame size, and desired number of days to store,
as well as motion sensitivity.
Viewing & Monitoring (Graphic card)
recommended minimum intel extreme graphic 2 with minimum
64 video memory. Better graphic card will see noticeable
frame rate per second in DVRclient.
